The College

We all share the belief that the MSU College of Business and Industry is a great college and, we want it to continue to be that way. Essential pillars of that greatness are our alumni and students. It is imperative to have a strong relationship between a university and its graduates. One important catalyst for this relationship is communication. We want to keep you informed of our news and events, and encourage you to become more involved with your alma mater.

The ‘State of the Future’ Campaign

Mississippi State University is currently engaged in the largest and most ambitious capital campaign in its 128-year history. State of the Future, the theme given to this effort, was announced to the public on October 8, 2004 and will continue through the end of 2008. A challenging goal of $400 million has been set, and each academic unit is working to reach its own goal that was set after extensive strategic assessments identified critical needs and the resources necessary to meet them.

For this effort, the College of Business and Industry, has a goal of $34.4 million. The assessment and planning that led to establishing this goal identified six critical priorities that the College of Business must address to continue moving forward among the top business schools.
