Two College of Business student organizations have received Distinguished/Exemplary Chapter awards
10-15-12 - The Beta Gamma Sigma chapter was once again named an Exemplary Chapter. Gamma Sigma is the international honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB International.

The Mississippi State University Beta Kappa Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi has been recognized internationally as a Distinguished Chapter. Beta Alpha Psi is an honorary organization for Financial Information students and professionals. The primary objective of Beta Alpha Psi is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the business information field. This includes promoting the study and practice of accounting, finance and information systems; providing opportunities for self-development, service and association among members and practicing professionals, and encouraging a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility. Congratulations to Angela Pannell, chapter advisor, all of the Beta Alpha Psi members on this accomplishment.
