2014 Alumni Fellow Reception- Boyce Adams, Sr.
10-31-14 - Boyce Adams has been selected as the 2014 Alumni Fellow for the College of Business.
Adams is the president and CEO of BankTel Systems in Columbus, MS. BankTEL is a provider of financial accounting and cash management software, and helps more than 1,400 clients in all 50 states and multiple international locations to cut costs, increase deposits, and automate internal processes. Boyce co-founded BankTel in 1992. Prior to this time he worked as a consultant to a CPA firm where he recognized the need for software solutions that not only interfaced with core banking systems but could work simultaneously on different platforms to more fully automate financial accounting.
Adams has participated in a number of COB events over the past year, including volunteering as a speaker for our Career Chats event and Beta Gamma Sigma induction, and serving as a judge for the annual E-Week competition in the spring. Adams is a member of the COB Executive Advisory Board and a major supporter of the Entrepreneurship Program.
He will be recognized for his commitment to the College of Business during a reception on Friday, October 31.
