MSU-Meridian Business Division Students Featured for Their Research in Meridian Star
9-23-15 - For 30 years local farmers have sold their produce at the same Meridian location. The farmers have long said, however, that many area residents, particularly younger ones, are not aware the market exists.
Meridian Main Street Executive Director Karen Rooney asked Dr. Yingge Qu, assistant professor of marketing at MSU-Meridian, for help to address the problem.
Qu agreed to allow her business students to study the market for a research project. Once the students have completed their research, they will offer recommendations on how to improve customers’ experience and promote the farmers market.
