Career Chats and Mocktails - October 17-18, 2017
10-17-17 - The College of Business will host its annual Career Chats and Mocktails event on October 17-18, 2017.
This two-day event is designed to connect our students with business alumni from various industries. We invite our business graduates to speak to students in the classroom about real world experiences, their career paths, and career tips on getting a job in the field. This is an opportunity for our students to hear true success stories and receive resourceful, first-hand knowledge of what’s happening in the business community and how to apply it to preparing for the workforce.
"Mocktails" will be held on the evening of October 17, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the McCool Hall atrium.
Mocktails is an annual networking reception hosted by the College of Business in conjunction with our Career Chats event. Students attend the mock cocktail reception to learn how to interact with business professionals and improve their communication skills. This is an exclusive event just for accounting and business students. Dress is business casual and light refreshments will be served. Students, please be sure to RSVP NO LATER THAN OCTOBER 4th for this event in Connections on the Career Center website.
