Recycle at your desk-side
Mississippi State’s campus-wide recycling program is underway, and we’ve been asked to let you know that McCool Hall is now online and ready to recycle. Here are the details. Your desk-side container (garbage can) will now be your personal recycling container (it will have a blue liner). We can recycle all plastics (including styrofoam), glass, aluminum, all paper, cardboard and metal. Basically, the only materials that are not recyclable are food waste and personal hygiene items. Recycling containers have blue liners. Food waste and hygiene containers have clear liners. When your office garbage can has a blue liner, please put everything in it EXCEPT food waste and personal hygiene materials. So, please remember:
* Paper, cardboard, glass, aluminum, metal, plastic --> desk-side and
in containers with blue liners.
* Food and personal hygiene waste --> in common area containers with clear liners.
