As we approach our 110th anniversary, we are excited to introduce Club 1915. Club 1915 is a new way for you to engage with the College of Business and support its growth and advancement. A monthly commitment of $19.15  supports live learning, classroom upgrades, study abroad, and business technology for students. Club 1915 members will receive a gift to display and show off your commitment to your College of Business. Members will also receive invitations to Club 1915 events throughout the country to network with fellow Bulldogs, hear updates from College of Business leadership, and learn how your membership is supporting the mission of the college.

A little history about the College of Business

The College of Business, organized in 1915, is the oldest college of business in the state of Mississippi and one of the oldest in the South. In 1979, the Department of Accounting was designated as the School of Accountancy in answer to a need for attention to the unique requirements of the growing profession of accountancy. In 2007, the School of Accountancy was renamed the Richard C. Adkerson School of Accountancy.

The College of Business offers majors in the following programs:

  • Economics
  • Information Systems
  • BA-International Business/Foreign Languages (double-degree)
  • Management
  • Marketing
  • Marketing - Professional Golf Management
  • Supply Chain Logistics

The College offers degree programs that lead to bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees, as well as numerous concentrations, specialized programs, and minors, such as Insurance, Real Estate, and Entrepreneurship. Distance learning through interactive classrooms and Internet courses is another avenue available to pursue coursework for College of Business students.
