Throughout my college experience, I have been able to get involved in several different organizations that have allowed me to give back to MSU while gaining valuable experiences that will help me in my future career. One of these organizations was New Maroon Camp, where I was able to serve as a counselor for two years and then, most recently, as a member of the executive staff. In these roles, I was able to help welcome incoming freshmen and transfer students to MSU and get them used to being a college student. In addition to this, I have been able serve as a Roadrunner for Mississippi State University, where I am able to help recruit prospective students to MSU. These organizations have helped me grow as a person and gain important skills that have helped me in my summer internships.
