College of Business graduate Kenneth (Ken) Robinson was recently appointed as one of five new members of the Financial Accounting Foundation's (FAF) Board of Trustees. Each member will serve a five-year term, which began on January 1, 2016.
Robinson is a 1977 finance graduate who now serves as vice president of global diversity and inclusion for Cincinnati-based Proctor & Gamble Co., where he leads its global audit, enterprise risk and compliance efforts. He also is a 1981 MBA/finance graduate of the University of Memphis. He was also selected as the 2015 Alumni Fellow for the College of Business.

Established in 1972, FAF is the independent, private-sector, not-for-profit organization based in Norwalk, Connecticut responsible for the oversight, administration, financing and appointment of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB.) The FASB and GASB establish and improve financial accounting and reporting standards-- known as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, or GAAP-- for public and private companies, not-for-profit organizations, and state and local governments in the United States.
