The College of Business' Adkerson School of Accountancy recently received a $75,000 charitable contribution from Horne, LLP, a three-year pledge to support three areas of focus: undergraduate scholarships, graduate scholarships and the newly-created Horne Strategic Initiative Fund.
“Horne LLP is proud to partner with the College of Business and the Adkerson School of Accountancy. We have many successful team members from MSU and look forward to many more joining us in the future," says John D. Scott of Horne, LLP. "Our recent acquisition of Horne Cyber Solutions and opening of a Starkville office only furthers our optimism.
Dean Oswald and Dr. Mauldin are providing exemplary leadership. With a new strategic plan in place for the Adkerson School of Accountancy, Horne LLP is proud to support three areas of focus: undergraduate scholarships, graduate scholarships, and the newly-created Horne Strategic Initiative Fund, which will provide a source of flexible funding for high impact programs and needs of the School.
The recently-released national ranking of our School of Accountancy’s undergraduate and graduate programs only reinforces our belief in the current and future direction of our accounting offerings at MSU, and we expect great growth and advancement ahead," he adds.
By making this gift through Infinite Impact, MSU's now $1 Billion Capital Campaign, Horne, LLP seeks to make college accessible for those who need tuition assistance, while also upholding excellence in higher education at the state's premier research university.
