The Bulldog Business Show is a monthly program dedicated to bringing you all the latest news and information from Mississippi State University's College of Business. Each episode gives you an inside look at the College's programs and events, history, faculty, students and alumni.
In this month's episode, host Jeffrey Rupp speaks with Tiffany Brady, Assistant Director of Recruitment for the College of Business. Tiffany’s main goal within the College is to foster interest in not only MSU, but also the College of Business. The enrollment of the College of Business was up by 24% in 2016-- the largest incoming freshman class across the University this year. She explains how positively the College’s new E-Center has affected visitors and highlights a few upcoming events for the College, including:
-Academic Insights (for incoming students): February 4
-Career Chats (for alumni): March 28-29
Also featured is Rahul Gopal, a recent aerospace engineering graduate currently pursuing his MBA at MSU. As a graduate assistant in the E-Center, Rahul was equipped with the tools and funds he needed to begin his own company in 2012. His company, Campus Knot, was inspired by a peer who wanted to converse with professors and other students during the day, but was too shy to ask for help. The digital program and app is designed to help students easily connect with other students and faculty. The company received a $100,000 investment in 2015, and is currently valued at $1,000,000.
