The Bulldog Business Show is a monthly program dedicated to bringing you all the latest news and information from Mississippi State University's College of Business. Each episode will give you an inside look at the College's programs and events, history, faculty, students, and alumni.
In this episode, host Jeffrey Rupp speaks with College of Business marketing professor, Dr. Mike Breazeale on the College of Business Inclusion and Diversity Fellows Program. Diversity Dawgs encourages students to be committed to creating inclusive environments and celebrating diversity to new heights. Breazeale explains how important diversity and inclusion is to the College of Business as well as how this program can open the door for students involved to express to future employers how passionate they are about diversity and inclusion. Through this program, students will also have the opportunity to earn credit for attending events, participating in organizations, studies abroad, and even certain courses. We also speak with Landon Casey, recent MSU graduate and student entrepreneur. Casey explains that through his venture of having a product in the E-Center, he recognized how much easier it was for an entrepreneur to talk about their product to investors or customers when there was a prototype for it. Casey demonstrates a new prototype made for school children to help them learn their multiplication tables that functions through a phone app and a medical device that tracts data for physical therapy patients.
